Dani Law is an accomplished leader with over 20 years of international experience across the private and public sectors, currently serving as the Director of Social Impact at the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC). With a career spanning Canada, the UK, and China, Dani specializes in corporate sustainability, ESG, human rights, social impact and emerging technology. A Master of Laws candidate at the University of Toronto focusing on Innovation, Law, and Technology, Dani has a particular interest in the responsible governance of AI and its societal implications. 

 

An alumni of Civic Action’s DiverseCity Fellows program, Dani is an advocate for fostering a more inclusive, equitable and democratic society. As the Co-Founder of RBC’s Survivor Inclusion Initiative, Dani led efforts to expand access to basic financial services for survivors of human trafficking in collaboration with the UNDP’s Finance Against Slavery & Trafficking (FAST) program. ​​
