Cindy Miao is a current student at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law and alumnus of the Justice, Political Philosophy, and Law program at McMaster University. She has worked as a CILISAT certified interpreter and multi-lingual graphic designer. She strongly believes in the important role of students and youth in improving and safeguarding the future of our democracy. Her areas of interest and research concern the creation of effective public education material and outreach programs that promote civic engagement and awareness in students from elementary to post-secondary school level.
