Rachel Parent is a journalist, environmental, food safety and youth activist. She has, for many years, been a vocal advocate for safe food, social justice,  animal rights, and responsible consumerism. She is the founder of Kids Right To Know and Gen-Earth.Org. She has long been a strong proponent of mandatory GMO labeling, advocating for the right to know what’s in our food in Canada and the USA. At age 14, Rachel debated celebrity Host Kevin O’Leary and Amanda Lang on CBC Television. Rachel is an international speaker, including TEDxToronto 2014 and SXSW in Austin, TX,  in addition to being a passionate blogger for the Huffington Post.
